What is laser therapy, and how does it work?
Low-Level Laser Therapy is a non-invasive light source treatment that generates a single wavelength of light to interact with tissues in the body. It works by stimulating cellular processes, promoting healing, reducing inflammation, and in this case opening a temporary transitory pore for the contents of the fat cell to leak out into the lymphatic system. The body then processes and eliminates the contents as waste.
How many sessions are typically required, and what is the duration of each session?
The number of sessions needed varies depending on the amount of fat that needs to be reduced. The number of sessions will be discussed during the consultation when reviewing the initial 3D body scan. If your BMI is between 29 & 40, you will automatically qualify for 12 treatments. If you only require a toning package you will qualify for 6 treatments.
Is this non-invasive laser fat loss therapy covered by insurance, and what are the costs involved?
American Laser Therapies does not accept insurance. You can expect to spend between $2000 - $4000 for treatments. We offer financing options and package promos for multiple session packages to make them more affordable for our clients. We also offer promo pricing for First Responders and Military Veterans.
What should I expect during my treatment session?
During your treatment session, you can expect a quiet, comfortable room. A certified Medical assistant will position the laser over your treated area and will leave the room for 15 minutes. The CMA will reposition the laser after those 15 minutes and leave the room for another 15 minutes for you to enjoy the peace and quiet. After the 30 minutes of treatment, you'll transition to a whole body vibration platform for 10 minutes to gently stimulate lymphatic flow. Once your 40-minute treatment is over, you can enjoy the rest of your day because there is no downtime or recovery.
What is a 3-D body scan?
Your 3D body scan will measure all aspects of your body within 2-3 mm of accuracy using the latest technology available. Your weight, lean mass, fat mass, BMI, body circumference, and more will be measured to create a baseline. This baseline will provide the basis for the actual treatment approach and the guaranteed results. This baseline scan will also facilitate comparison against the treatment results after your 6th treatment.
